Meet Farhan Shaikh

While the digital solutions industry is moving faster than ever, Farhan Shaikh, Vice President of Data and Digital Sales for the Americas South Region, is ready for the race. In his new role, Farhan is a trusted advisor utilizing tools like Streetlight, Intelligent O&M, Aqua DNA, and OT Cyber to deliver game-changing innovations to our clients.
Farhan has been delivering solutions within the industry for the last 25 years, with a strong focus on strategic sales across markets in the U.S. In his previous sales roles, he provided information technology (IT) solutions for infrastructure clients, delivering a complete lifecycle of data solutions from collection to operational use to warehousing and analytics. Farhan also brings a strong understanding of geographic information systems (GIS), computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), project and document controls, mobile/web/cloud technologies and business intelligence.
As he takes on these new challenges, an important aspect of Farhan’s new role is developing and delivering on our go-to-market strategy for our Suite of Intelligent products, ultimately saving our clients’ time and money. With these tools and our technical expertise, we can deliver holistic solutions for our clients and the communities they serve.

What’s your favorite part of your role?
My work family. The relationships with the people I work with and the people I serve. I have spent the last 25 years developing strong, long-lasting relationships with colleagues, and now I have the pleasure of starting work each day knowing I can connect with them.
What sparked your passion for working in this industry?
It’s the combination of working with great people and having creative brainpower that our diverse talent network brings to the table. With this, we can solve any problem for our clients.
When you aren’t working, what are we most likely to find you doing?
Spending time with my wife and kids. We like to have cookouts, beach days and go to the movies. Currently, my wife and I are embracing being empty nesters since our youngest just graduated from high school this spring.
What do you enjoy most about being part of #OurJacobs?
Opportunity. Jacobs is so diversified within the markets we serve. It has enabled me to choose the role that fits my best interest. Not a lot of companies can do that.
