Environmental Planning
Successful regulatory and stakeholder approval for infrastructure projects requires a partner with demonstrated expertise in environmental planning and permitting. We combine our experience in environmental impact assessment — such as NEPA compliance in the U.S. and consenting in the U.K. — with our expertise in both community and stakeholder engagement and regenerative and nature-based solutions. This enables our clients’ projects to move from initial concept to construction and operations more efficiently and sustainably.
We provide the full range of disciplines that support these environmental approval processes, including biology and ecology surveys, landscape architecture and visual impact assessment, natural capital evaluations, socio-economic analyses, environmental justice and equity analyses and cultural and heritage solutions.
Our environmental consulting services span public and private sector infrastructure projects and industrial and commercial facilities. This includes all modes of transportation, data centers, life sciences and health facilities, industrial plants, water and energy infrastructure — including power plants, pipelines, transmission lines and renewable energy facilities. We empower this broad range of clients to achieve their missions through resilient solutions.

We help clients manage a wide range of contaminants in all media of concern, from radionuclides and metals to various organic and emerging contaminants, importantly per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). We support our clients in managing and mitigating risks posed by complex issues such as vapor intrusion, sediment contamination, low-level radiological waste and redevelopment — all in an evolving regulatory environment.
“The global demand for smart, sustainable solutions across environmental challenges is one of the biggest issues of our time. Our leadership draws on the deep knowledge of our clients’ industries and processes, an ability to integrate both proven and leading-edge technologies and most importantly, a commitment to enhancing efficiencies for environmental protection and safety that are truly the best for communities everywhere.”
