Chief Information Officer - Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3)

The Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a 10-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract designed to permit the Institutes and Centers (ICs) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and other federal agencies to acquire a wide range of IT services and solutions.

The focus is to proactively address issues deemed vital to the federal government and specifically to provide support to the CIO function in its critical role of helping the federal agency executive to deliver successful results.

Services

Health, health science and biomedical-related IT services to meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements. The contract also contains general IT services, since healthcare systems are becoming increasingly integrated within a broader IT architecture, requiring a systems approach to their implementation and a sound infrastructure for their operation. The focus of the CIO-SP3 contract is to provide to government agencies a mechanism for streamlined ordering of required IT solutions and services at equitable and reasonable prices.

The Jacobs team provides IT development and support for the systems, equipment, hardware, software, to researchers and clinicians visiting from other countries, library services, medical arts and publications, lab, biological, chemical and radiation safety, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of scientific equipment. Also, we have worked in partnership with NIH OD/OIT Management providing 24/7 Tier II and Tier III desktop services in support of more than 200 applications.
