Putting a Travel Pin on the Map at the Luxurious Red Sea International Airport
The Red Sea is poised to become an exclusive tourism destination that will position Saudi Arabia on the global tourism map. To access this new region, The Red Sea International Airport (RSI) will act as the gateway to the Red Sea archipelago and resorts. Jacobs, along with our team of sub-consultants, was tasked to develop the design for RSI from detailed design through to construction documentation.

Brisbane Airport, New Parallel Runway
One of the largest infrastructure projects currently underway in Queensland, the new parallel runway at Brisbane Airport is the largest expansion of the airport’s aeronautical assets since its original 1950s construction. The new runway will effectively double the capacity of the airport, providing long-term growth to Brisbane and Queensland through more choices in airlines, destinations and flight times, along with 7,800 new jobs and an additional $5 billion for the regional economy.

The Denver International Airport (DEN) is one of the biggest in the United States and the world, connecting more than 200 nonstop destinations and 78 million passengers (CY 2023) with no signs of slowing down. Operating on 53 square miles, twice the size of Manhattan, DEN is poised to continue growing exponentially, utilizing partners such as Jacobs to keep people connecting today and into the future.

Operated by the Port of Seattle (the Port), Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) serves the people of the Pacific Northwest and beyond with essential services, access to hundreds of domestic and global destinations, and economic activity that supports tens of thousands of jobs and produces $20 billion in economic activity. Given continuous expected growth, SEA is working with partners like Jacobs to improve the passenger experience – from airport drop-off to departure – and we’re helping several key projects and programs across the airport take flight.

Heralding a new era in air travel, The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority rolled out the red carpet to celebrate the glamorous 94th anniversary of Hollywood Burbank Airport on May 30, 2024! With this celebration, officials sealed the deal on $724.78 million in 2024 Airport Revenue Bonds, which were issued through an underwriting syndicate led by BofA Securities with Public Resources Advisory Group serving as the Authority’s municipal advisor. The bonds are paving the way for a brand-new, state-of-the-art passenger terminal that will be 355,000-square-feet and include a 14-gate terminal that promises to redefine the airport experience for millions of travelers.
